| | | As a person who has been locked up myself (only for 2 months, but it was long enough for me!), I know all too well how much it means to have contact with the outside world while you're stuck in jail/prison. Those of you that have pen pals and send cards or anything, if you don't know it, those little things can make a WORLD of difference to the person you're sending it to! Imagine yourself in their shoes, in a world of darkness. What would it mean to you to know that A STRANGER took the time to do this for you, to let you know that there ARE people who care and don't look at you as just a convict, they see you as a HUMAN BEING! I just wanted to say that I am so thankful for sites like these. I know it is easy for people that are incarcerated to lose hope, and there is ALWAYS hope!
